OkCupid Verification with a Virtual Number
OkCupid lets you create an account with email, a phone number, or Apple, Google or Facebook sign-in, then asks a long series of profile questions used for matching. At sign-up, or later if its systems want to confirm you're a real person, OkCupid may require a phone number and send a short verification code by text. Noir SMS fits that single step: you rent a carrier mobile number for 20 minutes, the code appears in your dashboard with a sound alert, and your personal number stays out of your dating profile's records.

Rent a US, UK or Canada number for OkCupid on Noir SMS, enter it, and copy the code from your dashboard. The number is reserved for 20 minutes, and you're refunded automatically if no SMS arrives. Before you verify OkCupid
Verification can show up later
OkCupid sometimes asks for phone verification after sign-up, for example after unusual activity. If the number you used originally has been recycled, rent a fresh one at that point or, better, switch the account to a number you control.
Sign in with email or a linked account
Since Noir SMS numbers are single-use, make sure you can log in to OkCupid through email, Apple, Google or Facebook. That way a temporary number never stands between you and your account.
Real people, real profiles
OkCupid bans fake and scam accounts, and Noir SMS forbids using its numbers for them. Romance scams, catfishing, spam messaging, multiple accounts and impersonation are all prohibited; only verify your own genuine profile.

OkCupid virtual number: FAQ
Why is OkCupid asking me to verify my phone number?
OkCupid uses phone verification to fight spam and fake accounts, so it may ask for a number at sign-up or after activity its systems flag. The code arrives by SMS. If you don't want to give your personal number, a temporary Noir SMS number from the US, Canada or UK can receive it.
Can I use a virtual number for OkCupid?
Yes, in most cases. OkCupid tends to reject VoIP numbers like Google Voice and TextNow, but Noir SMS rents carrier mobile numbers that usually pass. If a number is rejected, cancel it two minutes after purchase or let the 20-minute window expire, and the charge returns to your balance.
Is OkCupid connected to Tinder and Hinge?
OkCupid, Tinder and Hinge are owned by the same parent company, Match Group, but they're separate apps with separate accounts and sign-ups. Each one verifies your phone separately. With Noir SMS, rent a separate number for each app you join, since every rental is for one service.
Can I get a second OkCupid code on the same number?
Yes, as long as the number is still active. After the first code arrives you can request another SMS on the same number, which helps if OkCupid asks you to re-enter a fresh code. Once the rental ends, the number is recycled and won't receive further messages for you.
What are the rules for using Noir SMS on dating sites?
Only verify your own legitimate account and follow OkCupid's terms. Using our numbers to create fake profiles, run romance or investment scams, send spam, impersonate someone, mass-create accounts or return after a ban is strictly prohibited. Privacy for a real person is the use case we support.
